Quick answer
Which Midtown West businesses does Citywide clean?
Citywide Maintenance Services cleans showrooms and fashion offices in the Garment District, stores and offices around Times Square and Bryant Park, buildings near Penn Station, and restaurants and small businesses in Hell's Kitchen. Work includes office and janitorial cleaning, hard floor and carpet care, window cleaning and restaurant cleaning, carried out by Citywide employees on schedules set around each building's access rules.
One neighborhood, several commercial personalities
Midtown West is not one market. Around Times Square and along Seventh Avenue and Broadway, storefronts and offices deal with some of the heaviest foot traffic in the city, late into the night. The Garment District, in the blocks south of Times Square toward Penn Station, still holds fashion showrooms, design studios and wholesale offices in older loft buildings with shared freight elevators. West of Eighth Avenue, Hell’s Kitchen is lined with restaurants and independent small businesses.
Each needs a different approach. A showroom has to look immaculate on appointment days. A storefront near Times Square fights street grime and constant door traffic. A Ninth Avenue restaurant needs its cleaning done between closing and morning prep. Office buildings around Bryant Park and Penn Station deal with commuter traffic, wet weather and winter salt at every entrance.
Midtown West facilities and the services that fit
Garment District showrooms
Showroom cleaning with glass, fixtures and floor care timed before buyer appointments.
Fashion and design offices
Office cleaning for studios with sample rooms and shared work tables, handled with care around garments and materials.
Times Square storefronts
Daily retail cleaning, entrance glass and periodic power washing of storefronts and sidewalks.
Hell's Kitchen restaurants
Overnight restaurant cleaning for dining rooms, restrooms and floors between close and prep.
Penn Station-area offices
Janitorial services and carpet cleaning for commuter-heavy buildings.
Freight elevators, loading and late nights
Older Garment District buildings often share a single freight elevator among many tenants, with fixed hours and priority for deliveries and rack moves. We book equipment moves — floor machines, carpet extractors — inside those windows and plan heavier floor work for evenings or weekends when the elevator is free. Side-street loading zones are tight, so arrival times are coordinated with the superintendent.
Around Times Square, foot traffic continues well past midnight, which narrows the quiet window for storefront and lobby work. Citywide crews are available 24/7, so we can schedule entrance and glass cleaning in the early morning before doors open, and overnight floor work when the street is at its quietest.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Straight answers to the questions facility and office managers ask us most.
Have a question that is not here? Call (917) 842-4644 or request a proposal.
Can you clean a showroom before buyer appointments?
Yes. Share your appointment calendar and we schedule a detailed cleaning of glass, fixtures, floors and fitting areas ahead of busy days, in addition to routine visits.
Our building has one freight elevator with limited hours. Is that a problem?
No. Routine cleaning uses little equipment, and heavier floor or carpet work is booked into the elevator's available windows or scheduled for evenings and weekends.
Do you clean restaurants in Hell's Kitchen after closing?
Yes. Restaurants are one of the industries Citywide serves, and crews can work overnight between closing and morning prep. The walkthrough defines which areas are in scope.
Do you have a location in Midtown West?
No. Citywide is based in Queens and serves Midtown West as part of its New York City service area. For a proposal, call (917) 842-4644 or request one online.
